Through analyzing the characteristics of a missile/target encounter, the endgame simulation is visualized using C++ Builder 5.0 & Microsoft OpenGL. 1) The simulation software offers different types of target model. The parameters of the three-dimensional missile/target models can be set discretionarily so that they can encounter with different poses. 2) After analyzing the dynamic characteristics of fragments, the warhead fragmentation pattern is visualized. 3) With the distance of missile and target decreasing, a series of infrared images which change from integrity to part are obtained. 4) The new graphics techniques such as texture mapping, light modeling are used to enhance visualization and animation of endgame. 5) Finally, the simulation software is completed. |
