This dissertation makes a research on the integrated target discrimination and its simulation on Tactical Ballistic Missile. The integrated target discrimination simulation system is designed and implemented.At the beginning, the history of ballistic missile defense is introduced, and the research situation of target discrimination, modeling and simulation in ballistic missile defense is summarized. So the importance of the research in the dissertation is indicated. The framework of the dissertation is introduced.After analyzing the movement equation and the target characteristic performed in different phase, an integrated target discrimination strategy is developed and an integrated target discrimination model is set up, which is relate to structure, precession, temperature and re-entry characteristic of ballistic missile. The imaging method based on structure characteristic and the parameter estimation based on precession characteristic is performed.After the relationship between different angles on high resolution range profile is analyzed, the average HRRP is introduced to depress the sensitivity of angle. ISAR image can be accessed on some conditions. Two imaging methods are introduced based on typical characteristic of target movement.The dissertation discusses the approach to obtain the inertia ratio of cone from precession characteristic. Taking the influence from Average-visual angle changing into account, the procession mathematic model is developed, from which we derive two methods, which estimate the parameters from time field and frequency field respectively. The result of simulation is performed..Finally, the implementation of the TBM integrated discrimination system is designed and addressed. The structure, the module function and the system working flow is introduced. The methods of discrimination based on characteristic of imageing ang movement is applied in the system.
