In order to maintain highly reality for pilots'sense, perfect quality in visual is necessary. This paper is aiming at generation and management of terrain. After comparing the traditional development method for visual simulation, this paper provides an advanced diamond-square algorithm and an advanced ROAM algorithm for generating and managing the terrain. And get the data elevation model by programming the algorithm. According to theory analysis, data analysis, graphic analysis, this paper demonstrate that advanced algorithms have advantages in generating smooth terrain, they can also eliminate the crack in terrain, and have some superiority in efficiency terrain management. |
