In the background of the retrofit of mine auxiliary hoist electrical control system of Shaoguan FANKOU Pb-Zn mine in Guangdong province, we introduce the design and application of a new mine auxiliary hoist computer control system, based on the research about travel control and computer control technology used in the mine auxiliary hoist. The mine auxiliary hoist computer control system adopts advanced DC speed regulated system of complete digitization and computer control system to change the unadvanced mine auxiliary hoist control system driven by F-D and controlled by relay into advanced computer control system.In the article the mathematical model of given speed with S-type curve in travel control, and mathematical expressions between speed and travel versus time containing acceleration and deceleration regulation are derived, and appropriate travel control algorithm is chosen. According to practical requirement, a control system containing hardware configuration and the interface circuits of relevant peripheral signals are designed. The computer control system for mine auxiliary hoist includes signal system, multifunction digital indicator, main control system, DC speed regulated system of complete digitization, and computer monitor and control system. This system has the features of forming S-type datum speed curve, setting speed datum beforehand, realizing the function of protection and monitoring, and provides a powerful technique guarantee for safe operation of mine hoist. It is shown from the result of site operation and commission that this control system is reliable and exactitude and can fully satisfies the requirements of site production.
