The mine hoist is the most important equipment in mine mountain, it is crucial for mine production that stability and reliability. The property of traditional electrical control system for the mine hoist is worse, there are many problems such as bad control precision,poor speed adjusting performance,faulty safety protection and monitoring parts.In the background of the retrofit of auxiliary hoist electrical control system of Chenjiagou Mine belongs to Gansu Huamei Group, the author has improved its speed control system and control loop, designed PC monitoring system with configuration software. The advanced frequency conversion technology is adopted in the speed control system, it can improve run stability for hoist and reduce energy consumption. Control loop adopts the manner of PLC, designs double PLC redundant control system, the run reliability for hoist has been increased greatly; in this paper, the mathematical model of given speed curve of idea S in travel control is derived and simulated in the Matlab to check the system is feasible. The PC monitoring system is programmed under the environment of configuration software, through the communication between PC and PLC via Industrial Ethernet, it implements system long-distance monitoring and network managing by showing run parameters and situations for hoist and supporting online WEB publishing functions.Through the design of improvement, the safety and reliability of this mine hoisting system will be improved greatly, it will not only save energy well but also improve mine production efficiency.
