Whichever form of mine hoist, the moment of inertia of mine hoist changeswhen it works, however, there are no enough emphases on this question in thecontrol system of mine hoist. With the rapid development of computer controland electric power electronic technology, using entire digital control style,whose control software can realize variety intellectual control, whichcomposite varied discipline, such as electric machinery,electric powerelectronic,automation,computer control, has became the development tendencyof mine hoist's electric drive system. The paper discusses and probes into theapplication of adaptive control in mine hoist direct-current velocitymodulation system.The paper first reviews the development of adaptive control, and thenbriefly introduces the history of speed control technology of DC drive in minehoist, analyses alter and static function of frequently-used rotational speed,electric current dual closed-loop speed control system, analyses the designmethod of model reference adaptive control based on stability theory, raisesa new dual closed-loop control style based on the problem of dc speed controlsystem, using adaptive control in place of speed hoop, in the final carries outthe simulation and analyzes on concrete dc motor with specific instance, thesimulation results achieve the expectation control performance.Finally, on the basis of the summarization of the research work in this paper,further research and investigation on the adaptive control system are discussed.
