PDM is necessary to the implement of information engineering. It not only can resolve the 'automation islands' problem, which exists commonly hi the enterprises, but also is the powerful tool for the contemporary integrated manufacturing. PDM is enabler in product development process. Concurrent Engineering (CE) is the systemic methodology for product development process yet.Based on the traditional architecture of the PDM, a new architecture of KN-PDM system driven by CE, which meet for the need of NanJing Kangni New Technology of Mechantronic Co., LTD, is established in this paper. Its inner structure and function are analyzed.Product development process based on CE is studied deeply. And this paper provides the definitions of Node, Flow, Weight, Concurrence Degree and Relativity. At the basis of these definitions, three relation models between nodes are proposed, and two means of process division are presented. The academic description of the problem and the statistic arithmetic of Weight are also given. Based on analysis and study product development flow of Nanjing Kangni New Technology of Mechantronic Co., LTD deeply, its product development flow is reconstructed. Also a new product development flow is presented and analyzed. |
