According to the requirement of the middle & small corporations to theproduct data management, Based on the extensive reference to the existed commercial PDM systems and the embedded investigation to the middle & small corporation, taking microcomputers and Windows OS as application platform, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as system database, Borland C++ Builder 5.0 as the development tool, a PDM system was developed based on Client/Server structure and manufacturing information integration & concurrent engineering oriented. This system includes Document Management, Flow Management, Product Structure Management, Project Management, Classification and Search Management, and Dynamic Popedom Management.
