The Modeling And Application Of The Product Development Process Based On Concurrent Engineering

In nowadays society, the competitiveness of new product is mainly embodyed in the quality, development costs, R&D cycle as well as good after-sales services, furthermore, an ideal design process can effectively promote the product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, shorten the delivery cycle and enhance customer's satisfaction. A paralleled design development model could take the manufacturing, assembly of the downstream activities and others factors into consideration in an early stage, so as to shorten the development cycle and reduce development cost through reducing the amount of revision to the design. Morever, it is also a process with many departments joined the work, so many performance indexs and parameters could be chose selectively and reasonable. Therefore the quality of the product would be improved greatly.Based on the analysis of the factors considered when the company applying the concurrent engineering and the subdivision of the product life cycle, the paper gives the product modeling method based on the concurrent engineering. To research the developing process time more deeply, this paper introduces the Work Flow net system. By using the handling-time method of the Timed Petri Nets on the Work Flow modeling, this paper gives a set of Work Flow time manage methods. In the end, this paper takes the camera shell's developing process as the research object, uses the modeling method to improve its developing modeling. Then, by putting the time factor into the modeling and combining the Work Flow time manage method, this paper predicts and allots the developing time of the camera shell.
