Digital to analog converter(DAC) achieves the digital to analog conversion, high precision, high speed, low power consumption have become CMOS new research direction. So based on 0.5um CMOS technology, this paper designed a 12 bits D/A converter, the circuit is divided into band gap voltage reference, data selector switch,resistor network and sum circuit four sub modules, including resistance network structure with R-2R type.Based on Cadence software,simulating and debugging respectively circuit module and the whole circuit, getting the optimal circuit parameters,finally completing the layout drawing, and through the validation rules of landscape.Designing the 12 bits DAC simulation results: the working voltage of 3.3 V.Band-gap reference voltage of 1.324 V;Establishment of 20.78 ns; Conversion rate is0.016 v/us; The INL and DNL are less than 0.5 LSB; Circuit power consumption is21.8317uw; Landscape area is 0.0026mm2. All the parameters meet the design requirements. |
