The blow of Reality shows began to spread to many countries(regions) in early twentieth Century, Guangdong TV launched China’s first reality show "survival challenge" which was inspired by the coproduction of TV series of Hong Kong ATV and Japanese television " the wave youth", the initiative to start the localization and innovation road of reality show in China. In 2004, Hunan satellite TV launched the reality show "super singing girl",an imitation of "American idol", which received high ratings, and brought huge profits. In 2007 Hunan TV bought the British "Just the Two of Us", then launched the "reputation"; In 2010, Oriental TV bought the copyright of " Britain’s Got Talent" program, and made its Chinese version "Chinese Got Talent", which opened a gate for our field test programs to buy overseas copyright. The domestic main TVs noted the possibility and potentiality of cloning or transplanting overseas mature program model, and began to choose the path of development.The problem of programs localization has gradually become the heated topic of this industry and academic field. Program localization is caused by the different media environment, social psychology and traditional culture differences between the two states, localization is also a process of cultural adaptation, a process of two cultures blending and repulsing, this paper adopted the methods of comparative analysis and case analysis, taking the original " British Master" and Chinese version "China’s Got Talent" as an example. It, using the theories of cultural differences and cultural adaptation, discusses how the "Chinese Got Talent" program reforms in a localized way at the background of cultural difference.It also studies the the grounds and strategies of localization.The study finds that the production of our own national cultural program can only be made by relying on the cultural differences between the two countries, respecting the national culture tradition, complying the audience viewing habits and aesthetic appreciation, boldly absorbing and abandoning the foreign TV culture.
