Reality shows as a western invention, has gone through a journey of ten years of development in China. The development of China’s reality TV show the most began to start completely imitate from the past, to the later part of the localization, the purchase of foreign rights especially in recent years, in mature slowly with localization is also facing a problem. These programs are in a foreign country of origin, because the Chinese and western in ideology, history and culture and the audience psychological aspects there are significant differences.This article selects the reality in our country two case: " dad?Where are we going " "amazing race ", the program itself "localization" process is successful, both in terms of program content, form, style, values, show clips and so on various aspects carries on the analysis, it is concluded that how to realize the localization of the reality.The author hope that through this paper, for the star reality TV show in the localization of the development of our country to provide some valuable experience, the government support, propaganda, and the characteristic of national culture media development in various aspects, such as system established, with the help of localization development strategy to promote the program toward the direction of healthy and benign development in our country.
