The cultural industries without transmitting their values are unsuccessfulcultural industries. The globalization unites the world more closely, andpeople all over the world could share their own cultural resources by theInternet conveniently. Films and televisions as typical products of the masscultures act as the important carrier of the cultural exchange. The televisionsof "Reality Show" are all the rage the whole world and impact on the public’svalues. Due to the reality shows playing a more and more important role intelevisions, the cultural values of the reality shows are investigated in thisthesis. In this thesis, the development of "Reality Show" and its transmissionin China are discussed. Chinese traditional cultural values and the system ofsocialist core values are also investigated. By comparing two reality showsfrom China and US, the "Reality Show" should stick to the socialist corevalues in the multi-Cultural and ecological environments and integrate thedifferent TV culture forms to remodel the images of reality shows.
