Along with development of information technology, computer network is becoming a part of people's life more and more, and development of E-learning also is rapidly. Different from the traditional teaching, in the network teaching, teachers and students separate in different space and time.The teacher is no longer teaching directly. The goal of educational realizes through the network course. The teaching activity centers on the network course. The role of the teacher is minimized. How to assure the teaching quality and enhance the network studying efficiency, in such environment, has become a hot spot in current E-learning research.It is a most effective method that assuring the network teaching quality and enhancing the network studying efficiency through network teaching monitoring. Although both foreign and domestic scholars carry on the discussion to it at present, many research are about the theoretical analysis only, few about realizes. Moreover, there is no a set of network teaching monitoring pattern being widespread approval.In the paper, both foreign and domestic network teaching is researched, and both foreign and domestic teaching monitoring is analyzed. And then one kind of network teaching monitoring model is proposed. Finally, this model is tested in network teaching of Computer Center Kunming University of Science and Technology.In the model, learner's each kind of network learning activity information is gathered and analyzed, and then this information becomes the primary data for quality synthetic evaluation. The level of learner's study information is presented through the data of quality synthetic evaluation. This data are feedback to the learner with the simple suggestion of improving study effect. Network teaching monitoring realize in this way. In this model, network teaching monitoring realize mostly through the quality synthetic evaluation. This method is advantageous in raising learner's self-controlling ability and it is good for realizing the network teaching monitoring from exterior monitoring to internal monitoring smooth transition. Fuzzy appraisal is taken as a quality synthetic evaluation method in this model. It can carry on objective and comprehensive appraisal to the appraisal object, and it is suitable for appraising the system which is fuzzy and complex.
