Research And Implement Of The Student Evaluation Of Teaching System

At present, most colleges and universities have carried out the work of student evaluation of teaching and the widespread use of the online teaching evaluation system. And the research for the work about student evaluation of teaching has also been gotten attention by a number of higher education administrators and researchers. This research has made great progress. But on the whole, it has one way or the other problems. For instance, the description of present situation and practical work is more, the experiment and solution is less, which is largely confined to the personal understanding; the evaluation indexes are fixed and single, not meet the requirement of era development; or the system function is simple, and the interactive ability is weak, etc. In a word, the research needs to be further perfected and improved. How to make the student evaluation of teaching be fairer and more reasonable, is the urgent problem. This paper combines with the practical work of teaching management, to carry out the investigation and research and development of the student evaluation system. The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)In order to be more scientific and reasonable to carry out the work of student evaluation of teaching, this paper collects and analyzes and contrasts the theories of student evaluation of teaching, summarizes the disadvantages of the traditional evaluation model. On this basis, by considering the competitors influence of evaluation indexes and evaluation indexes influence on making the next round of indexes, this paper puts forward a fuzzy synthetic evaluation model which base on the index weight dynamic adjustment algorithm. And designs this dynamic adjustment algorithm to calculate the corresponding weights of the dynamic indexes and improve the objectivity and rationality of weight.(2)In order to realize the fuzzy synthetic evaluation model in the system, and widely collect the student evaluation of teaching information, first use the modeling tool Sybase Power Designer 15 to analyze the systematic requirements, and establish case diagram、activity diagram、Sequence diagram and so on; second define the system function, design the conceptual model and logical model of database; then use Access as the background database, and uses ADO to access the database and table data structure information that stored in the server database; In the end, the system which use B/S mode and ASP technology realizes the dynamic WEB page by the Dreamweaver 8.0.(3)The system consists of six subsystems, there are mutual restrictions and mutual links between the subsystems, can meet the basic requirements of the process about the student evaluation of teaching, and it is conducive to the further analysis of the evaluation results. Before evaluation, administrators at all levels can manage the basic information by downloading the template、importing data in batch or adding and modifying item by item, etc; in the process of evaluation, students can add their own index that they consider important, but not exists in the current evaluation index; the system use the fuzzy synthetic evaluation model to calculate; after the completion of the evaluation of teaching information statistical computing, users at all levels can analyze the evaluation results by system operation like querying, downloading and printing, search the teachers’shortages and advantages.(4) Take a certain teacher’s curriculum class as an example, use the above system which base on the fuzzy synthetic evaluation model to evaluate, the comprehensive evaluation points are roughly identical to the evaluation results of teaching supervisors at the same time period, about the same as the teachers’ average grade in history, this proves, the improved evaluation model is reasonable and effective.
