Evaluation Model Of Teaching Quality Evaluation System Based On Fuzzy Matrix Design And Realization

Evaluation of the quality of instruction is an important instrument to control the teaching process. In this process, a great many methods and techniques are adopted to measure, scale and evaluate the quality of instruction, with the final goal of providing basis for teachers to improve their quality of instruction, and for decision makers to carry out reforms on education and improve their macro management. It is an important aspect of analysis and evaluation of teaching quality.Starting with the inconsistency between the teaching capacity and teaching quality in the author's school, this thesis explores a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, trying to establish an evaluation system based on fuzzy judgment matrix. Based on the current appraisal indices for teaching quality, a model of fuzzy judgment matrix is proposed in this thesis, together with a detailed description of its composition and evaluation algorithm. Compared with the average evaluation instrument,this model is more comprehensive in reducing distortion and loss of information. Both quantificational scores and qualitative comments as well can be produced with this model for the teachers being evaluated,which makes the evaluation complete, objective and fair. In this evaluation system, a data-base server and multi-clients evaluation are placed in the LAN. The database server is the center of this system, providing interfaces of united management for all the clients in the network. As a result, the clients just demand a simple interactive application , that is operating on the evaluation information in the database in a way of thin clients.A solution based on Browser/Server structure is proposed in this thesis, and the key technology in analyzing, designing and realizing is introduced. Several ways of Java getting access to SQL Server have been discussed to show the procedures and their merits and drawbacks.
