With business technology reform and the multi-track construction in Sichuan province and Southwest Region of China, Meteorological Information Sharing (MIS) cause increasingly wide attention. All the implementation of the multi-track program demonstrates the strong demand for MTS, without exception. While the construction of various other systems highlights the different degrees of dependence and relevance to it. MIS is the basis of multi-track construction and the focus of intensive as well. However, the current MIS system has comparatively lagged behind, difficult to meet the urgent needs of the development of the multi-track business. In a sense, it has become the bottleneck to restrain the progress of them in our province and other more regions.As a set of basic and comprehensive system, MIS includes weather information management centered on commercial database and the application and support system based on its business for the multi-track program. The main building of the system falls into two phases, the regional common database of meteorological information systems and regional information storage retrieval systems. It has two components, the database administration system for weather information and the application and support system for weather information. The completion of the system will provide overall weather information services and support, such as the real-time information, historical data collections and a variety of products. Generally, in the provision and exchange of meteorological information, the system can take on all tracks intensive information necessary to manage, service, and sharing.At the same time, the system is the core of the Region meteorological information sharing platform, and an important part of capacity-building of the Regional Center. It is responsible for comprehensive meteorological observation, data and products collection, and shared services, within the Region. These functions can extend to other walks of relevant industries or sectors.Moreover, as a part of China's MIS platform, the system can furnish a wide range of shared services for the government and the public.
