| Calligraphy is in essence writing. As the typical delegate of the oriental abstract art, calligraphy is the quintessence of China. It is not only a particular kind of Chinese art, but also the core of Chinese culture.It is a stereotype that calligraphy belongs to the beaux-arts. The stereotype makes the calligraphy cannot be taught in primary and middle school.In fact, the calligraphy teaching should belong to the Chinese teaching. The calligraphy teaching is not a normal part of the traditional Chinese but an essence part. The reform of the Chinese teaching puts forward a new requirement that is to strengthen the calligraphy teaching. Then the adolescent ignore calligraphy more and more seriously. The basic education of calligraphy has to face the school's unassisstance, society's confusion and students'ignorance, which didn't exist before.The contemporary Chinese teaching should have charge of the calligraphy teaching. On the way of teaching, making use of the modern teaching technology gets the reasonable, flexible and efficient calligraphy teaching. During the process of teaching the teacher should use different teaching methods according to different students. The flexible teaching method could get many opportunities to teaching calligraphy subconsciously. On one hand, the crucial task of Chinese teacher is to get more knowledge on calligraphy to improve their calligraphy accomplishment. On another hand, to cultivate the excellent Chinese teacher, the normal university should insist on the calligraphy curriculum for the students whose major are Chinese. |
