Summary With the rapid development of social science and technology,the popularity of computers and mobile phones has penetrated into people's daily lives,and the status of writing has also declined.As a result,the writing ability of modern people is getting lower and lower.The inheritance of excellent traditional culture has also experienced an unprecedented test.In order to improve the status of this dilemma,the country has begun to pay attention to calligraphy education in recent years and has advocated calligraphy education to start with children.In order to ensure that the inheritance and education of calligraphy can be truly implemented,the State has made clear requirements for students' hard pen calligraphy when it revised the "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards" in 2011.On August 2,2011,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Basic Education Second [2011] No.4 Document"Ministry of Education's Opinions on Developing Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools." The "Opinions" set the requirements for establishing calligraphy courses and calligraphy teaching,and also requires the provision of guarantee conditions for the implementation of calligraphy education.On April 5,2012,the Shandong Provincial Department of Education promulgated the "Notice on Strengthening Calligraphy Education in the Teaching of Writing in Primary and Secondary Schools.""Notice" on the basis of"Opinions of the Ministry of Education on the development of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools" based on the teaching characteristics of Shandong Province,proposed more detailed and clear requirements for calligraphy teaching.In 2013,the Ministry of Education prepared the "Outline for Calligraphy Instruction in Primary and Secondary Schools" and asked students to learn both hard pens and brush calligraphy.Since 2011,the country has continuously promoted the development of calligraphy culture in different formsand achieved gratifying results.Calligraphy exhibitions and competitions at various levels have emerged in an endless stream.From the year of 2011 to 2018,colleges and universities recruiting calligraphy students have increased from 27 universities to 106 universities,and professionals have further promoted the development of calligraphy and calligraphy education.It is also a matter of recent years that the calligraphy class in Jinan City has truly entered the campus.This paper uses questionnaires and field visits to interview 30 primary schools,nearly 3,500 students and parents,and 36 school leaders and teachers in Jinan.Conducting surveys on the actual implementation of calligraphy classes in practical teaching,the content of classes,the forms of classes,and the effects of teaching,etc.,propose countermeasures and suggestions for problems discovered through investigations.Among the 30 schools surveyed,only one school in the first and second grades offered calligraphy classes.In the third to sixth grades,there are 13 schools offering calligraphy classes;10 schools offer calligraphic societies;and 7 schools do not offer calligraphy courses.In order to solve the problems in primary school calligraphy teaching in Jinan,we put emphasis on strengthening the importance of all aspects of the calligraphy course;equipped with professional calligraphy teachers;strengthened the training of calligraphy teachers and established various types of calligraphy activities and other countermeasures and suggestions.
