| Calligraphy is one of excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,is an important component of the Chinese language culture,to inherit and develop the calligraphy art and Chinese character culture is an inevitable choice of our country’s middle school education.For the Chinese education based on Chinese and literacy and writing,it is a basic and comprehensive subject,which plays a huge role in promoting the development of calligraphy education.In the reform of Chinese teaching materials in the past decade,calligraphy education has attracted more and more attention from people.The Ministry of Education put forward the requirements of calligraphy education for students in the compulsory education stage respectively in the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in 2011 and the Guidelines for Calligraphy Education for Primary and Secondary Schools issued in 2013.It stipulates that calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools should take the teaching of literacy and writing in the Chinese curriculum as the basic content.In addition to mastering the regular script,the students in junior high school should be able to copy the calligraphy of famous artists and experience the aesthetic value of calligraphy.The newly revised Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in 2022 put forward more specific requirements for calligraphy education in each learning section on the basis of the curriculum standards in 2011,increasing the appreciation of calligraphy by famous masters,and increasing the learning and accumulation of the relationship between pronunciation,shape and meaning of Chinese characters in each learning section.The new curriculum standards also reflect the Ministry of Education to calligraphy education,especially calligraphy education in Chinese teaching.As front-line teachers,they should study the new curriculum standards carefully and guide their teaching with the relevant requirements of the new curriculum standards.The integration of calligraphy education and Chinese teaching is of great help to students’ Chinese character education,which is conducive to improving students’ understanding of the meaning of Chinese characters,thus deepening students’ cognition of Chinese characters,increasing students’ love for the language of the motherland,and contributing to the cultivation of core Chinese literacy.However,in some remote township middle schools,due to the teachers’ lack of thorough understanding of Chinese curriculum standards and the lack of calligraphy professional quality,the integration of calligraphy education and Chinese teaching is insufficient in both breadth and depth.The author hopes that by writing this paper,more Chinese teachers will pay attention to calligraphy education,enrich and integrate related theories of teaching,truly integrate calligraphy education into Chinese teaching,and promote the comprehensive development of students.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the reason for the topic selection,related concepts,research status at home and abroad,research significance,research content,research methods and innovation.The Chinese and calligraphy education mentioned in this article refers to the infiltration of calligraphy education into Chinese teaching based on literacy and writing and by means of calligraphy in junior middle school Chinese teaching activities,aiming at improving students’ cognitive ability of Chinese characters,writing ability and calligraphy appreciation level.In this chapter,the relevant researches at home and abroad are reviewed,which provides some theoretical basis for this study.The second part expounds the necessity and importance of integrating calligraphy education into Chinese classroom."Guidelines for Calligraphy Education in Primary and Secondary Schools" points out that calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools takes literacy and writing as the basic content of Chinese curriculum,and the teaching of Chinese subject is also based on literacy and writing.Chinese and calligraphy education has a natural basis of integration,and the integration of calligraphy education into Chinese teaching is conducive to promoting the improvement of students’ core quality of Chinese.At the same time,many middle school students have problems in Chinese writing ability,writing habits,aesthetic ability and so on.Chinese teaching calls for calligraphy education.The third part is the current situation,existing problems and attribution analysis of the integration of calligraphy education and junior high school Chinese teaching.The author selected two middle schools of District M as the research object,carried out the research with the method of investigation,classroom observation,data analysis,etc.,and found that the integration of calligraphy education and Chinese teaching in two schools has shortcomings in both breadth and depth.Some teachers are reluctant to integrate calligraphy education into Chinese class due to their incomplete understanding of the new curriculum standard.The fourth part is the strategy of calligraphy education and junior middle school Chinese teaching integration.In view of the problems,the author combines the characteristics of calligraphy education and Chinese teaching with the practice of first-line teaching in junior middle schools in towns and villages,and puts forward some countermeasures for the integration of calligraphy education and Chinese teaching from the development of school-based textbooks,teacher training,classroom design,evaluation methods,campus culture and other aspects.The fifth part is the teaching design of the integration of calligraphy education and junior high school Chinese teaching.According to the above countermeasures,the author has carried out the design of integrated teaching for the section version of the Chinese textbook "Jiezi Shu" in the first volume of the seventh grade.Through the practice of summarizing and reflecting,it provides some meaningful references for the integration of calligraphy education and junior high school Chinese teaching.Calligraphy has unique charm because of Chinese characters.Calligraphy is the cultural treasure of the Chinese nation.As two major components of the Chinese language and culture system,calligraphy education and Chinese teaching should be properly integrated,so that students can enjoy the process of writing Chinese characters,experience the charm of calligraphy art,improve the writing level of Chinese characters,enrich the cognition of Chinese characters and Chinese culture,and promote the development of student’s core quality of Chinese. |
