Research On The Development Of Competitive Intelligence In China

Intelligence initially rooted in military with its main function to transfer the enemy's information. With the rapid deepening of economy globalization, intelligence has been gradually moved towards the direction of competitive intelligence research from military and politics and applied to enterprises. The academe and enterprises are increasingly attaching great importance to the research and application of competitive intelligence. In the market economy and globalization, important intelligence, especially those with high pertinence, will become the fourth factor relates to the survival of enterprises following talent, capital and technology. In the western developed countries, competitive intelligence has been able to make proceeds and has been going on the industrialization road.Under this circumstance, the development of competitive intelligence is the request of objective rules. But there are still many problems of competitive intelligence in China. In the recent 10 years, competitive intelligence had undergone a rough and frustrated road in China, from strangeness, misunderstanding, to acknowledgement and acceptance.The purpose of this paper is based on this background.But because competitive intelligence is not developed well in china and the data is not easy to get,we can only summarize and analyze the related reports,study on the existed problems and find out the correspondent reasons. At last, considering about the mode in the developed counties, the author believes that only by industrialization can China's competitive intelligence industry really serve the enterprises, be accepted by more people and fully exert its function.
