The Enterprise Competitive Intelligence (ECI) is the vital competitive ability for the enterprise, just as the capital, the person with ability and the technique. Developing the ECI work is not only the need of the globalization of the market economy and the devlopment of the information age, but also the need of the improvement of the the vital competitive ability. In the recent twenty years, the theoretical research and the application study in the province of the ECI develop fleetly, and in the meantime the achievement of the ECI work is great. Yet, due to the particularity of the ECI, the ECI practitioners intentionally evade the 'intelligence' character of the ECI sometimes. The technical method of the other subjects is applied mechanically in the field of the ECI. For example, the competition analysis method is applied the ECI analysis, and some technical methods of the informationism and the computer science are applied in the collection of the ECI. These methods applied widely in the field of the ECI are not the professional ECI analysis methond, which brings the big problem to the theoretical research and practice.
