For large or very large coal-fired boiler, it's safety, reliability and economy depends mainly on the flame state in the control boiler. Large or very large coal-fired boiler's combustion process of coal is a form of suspension burning. For this form of abnormal combustion, not only the combustion is complex, but also the working conditions in the process is extremely unstable. Its security mainly depends on the stability of the flame. Therefore, in order to avoid tragic events such as boiler explosion occurred, the inside furnace burning should make the coal burning quite full. If the combustion state is not stable enough, which will result in uneven temperature field inside the furnace, then lead to the efficiency reduce of boiler thermal greatly, there may be even dire consequences. Therefore, the furnace temperature field data is one of important foundation of diagnosing the burning flame state inside the furnace and adjusting the boiler's running parameters. In order to effectively improve the PC ability of diagnosing the combustion state, detecting faults and predicting, the issue constructed software and hardware platform, and focused on the image processing algorithms of furnace flame. Among them, the hardware can allow staff get more clear and intuitive images with its histogram, the software platform can diagnose the state of burning flame in real time.The two-dimensional temperature field can not reflect the change of three-dimensional temperature furnace very well, but it can express the two-dimensional spatial distribution of temperature very clearly. As long as the camera position is appropriate, hardware pretreatment's working state is correct, the PC can get the correct flame combustion condition. The temperature field got by flame image calculation provide a accurate temperature information to staff, so that the staff can do the correct operation, which means very important to the safety of power plant furnace.Based on the characteristics of the furnace flame, initially to build a flame image processing hardware and software platform that can handle real-time acquisition and analyze the flame images, the final processing results can be sent through the GSM module. Hardware platform got image data and sent to the host computer. The system of acquiring digital image can be widely used in industrial control.Host computer information processing software can get the real-time information, analyze and processing on time. Information processing platform which complies with the relevant specifications can provides a basic framework for large-scale distribution version. At last, the GSM transmission module can be successfully applied to false alarm.
