The problems of boiler furnace flame detection that need to be resolved urgently are researched in this thesis, which are as follows: quick reduction of image noises, "peep flame" question, quick and accurate judgement based on dynamic-threshold to find out the ON/OFF signal of the single burner flame , numeric evaluation of burner flame, temperature field reconstruction and image display in various ways.Based on the theories mentioned above, soft- and hardware are devised for the boiler furnace flame detection system.
