Our country consumes a lot of energy, in which the proportion of coal consumption is about70%. For coal consumption, the proportion used in power station is about48%. Power station requires strictly for the detection of combustion conditions in the boiler, which will direct the adjustment operation. The flame provides direct informations of the combustion, such as temperature and frequency. The paper introduces flame detection experiments in the one-dimensional furnace, using CCD camera and image processing technology, through two-color method to gain the temperature field. In this paper, there are3kinds of coal and15combustion conditions, analyzing different factors which influence the combustions, such as coal type, excess air coefficient, coal feed rate, different primary and secondary air ratio. The results show that, through the comparison of the three conditions of coal type1, with the increase of excess air coefficient, from1.0to1.2, the temperature and brightness of the flame image increase too. At the same time, the NOx content in the flue gas increases either. From the6conditions of coal type2, we can conclude that with the increase of coal feed rate, the temperature and brightness increase too. For coal type3, using two different sets of primary and secondary air rate, with the same coal feed rate and excess air ratio, we can see that one set’s temperature and brightness is higher than the other’s.
