The furnace combustion diagnosis and temperature field measurement are main content of furnace flame detection and the all traditional method has the flaw which itself cannot solve, then the technology of combustion diagnosis and temperature field measurement which based on flame image processing technology has become the recent development trend. According to the characteristic of luminosity and chroma of flame image, flame images were smoothed and enhanced. Based on analysis of characteristic of flame probe position a new furnace flame combustion diagnosis algorithm based on image rectification are presented, improve the effect of combustion diagnosis. By the comprehension and analysis to many images, the flame was divided into four levels. Then utilize the Support Vector Machine to classify the flame image, meanwhile implement judge the combustion stability by SVM. According to the deep analysis of temperature field measurement and study on the principle of three primary color of temperature measurement, discussing the factor of cause error and correcting the error. Meanwhile simplify the algorithm based on the correction, fulfill the need of real time detecting of temperature field.
