In21stcentury, the economic development rapid quickly, Thermal equipment towards tolarge capacity and high parameters develops, and the equipment more and more complicated.In order to raise the residents heating quality, we propose that fire detection technology withdigital image processing. This technology plays an important role in combustion processcondition monitoring, economy, security. Flame image can direct reflection pulverized coalboiler furnace internal combustion state. By using of digital image processing technology andCCD camera, can we visualize the combustion state which is monitored inside of the boilerfurnace, and can diagnose, more direct and full combustion process control boiler inspectioninformation in time.This article was monitored on image characteristics and flame burning pulverized coalboiler status. The main advantage of the combustion flame monitoring and diagnosis methodbased on digital image processing, visualization and combustion flame intelligent diagnosticstatus. The main work includes:(1)Using digital image processing methods to achieve flameimage preprocessing;(2)Flame image feature value extraction, according to the state analysisof characteristic parameters;(3)Use arm development board to complete the boiler flameimage monitoring system. Thus more intuitive, more efficient internal combustion reflects theboiler furnace.This paper describes the principles and flame burning pulverized coal boiler equipmentcondition monitoring system consisting of structures, study for image noise removal, imagesegmentation and local enhancement of digital image processing skill, which includepre-processing of the image denoising, flame image enhancement and image restorationflames. Image segmentation is based on the Markov random field model to completealgorithm for extracting characteristic values to prepare. In this paper, a system based onARM development board achieve the establishment of the flame image monitoring systemplatform, and this system can be capable of real-time monitoring and analysis of the state ofthe furnace flame.Based on the analysis of pulverized coal boiler flame image, this article can reflect thestate of the common characteristics of the combustion parameters and algorithms used. ByMatlab simulation results can it shows us that the relationship between the imagecharacteristic values of the flame and the combustion conditions. In addition, the results obtained by analyzing the image reflects the state of the flame, it can judge flame trend, whichcan generate combustion state of the intelligent diagnosis model. Alternatively, you cancombine the boiler operating parameters by using of real-time diagnostic model to determinethe combustion state. Therefore it has a large practical value.Finally, boiler combustion condition monitoring system use ARM chip series S3C2440A.By building the system platform and program design, it completes the implementation of theboiler flame monitoring system.
