Design Of Office Automation System Based On .NET Platform

Following the development of electronic information technology and computer network technology, computer is increasingly becoming an indispensable important tool in people's daily life. For enterprises and government institutions, the Office Automation (OA) system, which is realized with the help of information technology and network technology, will undoubtedly be able to greatly improve working efficiency and optimize business processes. Today, OA is playing an increasingly significant role in promoting people's working efficiency. On one hand, the use of OA system can collect and process all kinds of business information more quickly and accurately, such as work scheduling, document transfer, conference arrangements, information dissemination, etc.; on the other hand, the constant development of the computer technology and network technology can provide a good support for the realization of OA. Consequently, the research of the OA technology has very important practical significance and application value.This paper firstly introduces the basic concept and the current status of OA, analyzes the features of concepts, contents and functions in OA system, and also summarizes its basic characteristics and basic technical requirements to achieve which are based upon general system clients'needs; and then, this paper focuses on three levels to realize OA system, and considering the functions of transactional OA system, this paper makes a detailed introduction and analysis; finally, in order to satisfy OA's common functions and requirements, a practical OA system is designed and developed. This system, with good reliability and scalability, can be used to manage documents, official businesses and fundamental workflows.During the system developing, the Web application system, based on NET Framework, was adopted. Such a system can effectively separate business logic, application program control and data display function module, and therefore it not only improves the application program flexibility and facilitates maintenance and upgrading of the whole system, but also can be integrated easily and developed in an orderly way.The OA system designed in this paper can effectively be applied for small and medium enterprises and institutions. The ideas and principles in designing the system can also provides certain reference value for users and other system developers.
