The Research Of Office Automation System Based On Workflow Technique

Because the process which execution can be controlled with computer software system may equally called Workflow, the Workflow Technique, as a core technique for process modeling and process management, can be used in various business spheres to quickly and effectively build business manage systems satisfying requirements of enterprises. The technique helps to separate the business process management from application software, frees system developers from specific business contents, and the business process can be defined and managed by business organization themselves, thus enables the enterprises to rebuild their business rapidly to keep up with the market changes, and to realize business reconstruction. Because Workflow Technique provides an effective way to realize business reconstruction, soon has it been applied widely, and the study of this technique and its application also develops quickly. In the development of Workflow Technique, a number of new ideas and methods appear, at the same time new hot points in the study emerge constantly, one of which is the flexibility of workflow model and the dynamic control of workflow while it is in motion.On the basis of deepgoing analysis and summarization of present workflow modeling technique, in accordance with the above-mentioned hot point, we advanced a mixed technique for flexible workflow modeling. In this paper a thorough analyze and discuss on elemental model units of workflow process model has been made, and by the means of adding enlarged property sets to the property structure of elemental model units, the ability of the model to support dynamic control of workflow while it is in motion is improved. Afterwards, the author has analyzed and studied the design of the Office Automation System model, according to the aboveflexible workflow modeling technique, built a system Data Model which makes it easy to dynamically control workflow while it is in motion, and then solved the system requirements of business workflow process which is complex and changes frequently.Separating of physical position and information resources scatterring in different computer environments are characteristics of modern enterprises, this made the system structure of modern information system changed step by step from original centralized C/S architecture to distributed WEB-based B/S architecture. On the background of such requirements, by analyzing and comparing popular technique for realizing office automation system and the J2EE technique frame, we choose the distributed object technique J2EE to design and realize the WEB application platform for office automation system that based on workflow technique.The paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1 is a preface, introduces the background of study, current achievements at home and abroad, presents the main orientation and contents of study.In Chapter 2 we have analyzed and discussed the workflow theory, explained some relative concepts, and discussed the function and structure of workflow management system, classification of workflow management system, and method for modeling of workflow process.In Chapter 3 we have advanced a flexible modeling method of workflow, and studied the elemental model units in flexible process model, and how the modeling method support dynamic control of workflow which is in motion.In Chapter 4 we have discussed the design of system Data Model based on flexible workflow modeling method, and the design and realization of WEB-based system application platform.Chapter 5 gives a summary to whole paper, and looks forward the future work.
