Harbor is the connection point of transportation, is the transit hub for achieving the comprehensive transportation between water transportation, railways and highways. With the rapid development of port operations, the trend of the harbor mechanism development is large-scale, high speed, automation and intelligent. With the rapid increase of the national economy, the harbors of our country have changed the behindhand position completely by the hard work several years, especially after the reform and open.For the moment, the shore container crane is the major machinery for cargo handling equipment. So, with the continuous development of society, people need the faster and higher efficiency for the shore container crane. Then, it not only requires light weight of the shore bridge structure, but also needs the faster and high efficiency for the cars and carts of the shore container crane. It makes high demands for the design of structure and organization. The general design of the shore container crane is based on static design, and it needs to spend a lot of cost of doing prototype experiments, but it can not accurately calculate the fatigue strength of componments.This article taking the 45t-28m shore container crane of the GUIDE Electric Corporation, using the virtual prototyping technology, basing on the Multi-body dynamics theory, explores the technical line for dynamic design theory using on large-scale port machinery. This article reads as follows:(1) The establishment of three-dimensional modeling software UG gantry machine metal structure model into ADAMS software to generate rigid body model to analyze the various conditions of dynamic load, get quay crane hoisting mechanism at work in the dynamic load and run the institutions work The deflection load.(2) Finite element analysis software ANSYS to establish the bridge bank machine metal structure model, its modal analysis, structural vibration modes and vibration mode analysis of the results(3) ANSYS software, the model will generate modal neutral file into ADAMS software to generate flexible body, the establishment of the virtual prototype model of flexible coupling, the first beams of the lifting beam lifting and decreased after the dynamic process simulation, and analysis Two dynamic load condition and their dynamic response of bridge structure, bridge under various conditions of stress by cloud and the maximum stress value.In a word, virtual prototype study of shore container crane is a trial that apply advanced design, analysis and simulation techniques in design of port crane and offers efficient tool and method to design port crane that is economic, credible, stable and high performance.
