Hoisting and conveying machinery is widely used in the various fields of national economic construction. Along with the development of modern scientific and technological and market competition at home and abroad, the requirement of hoisting and conveying machinery also raises gradually, so design calculation method of hoisting and conveying machinery need to be renewed, substantiated and consummated constantly. Traditional static analysis and design methods can't satisfy it. Adopting technique of virtual prototype in study of hoisting and conveying machinery can realize emulation that the running state of each mechanism under various working conditions which varies according to load and the process which varies according to time. Results from the emulation are used to estimate and judge different data of actual movement.Main contents of the paper are as follows:It establishes dynamics models of lifting mechanism,traveling mechanism of the large and the traveling mechanism of the trolley of gantry carne, and ascertains dynamics load under different working conditions according to dynamics theories;The thesis aims to research gantry container crane of 50t-30m double box-beam and utilizes software platform of ADAMS,Ansys and Pro/E to establish three-dimensional digitized virtual prototype of gantry container crane and systematically do its analysis of dynamics emulation when lifting mechanism,traveling mechanism of the large and the traveling mechanism of the trolley of gantry carne all start and brake, then analyzes the data and plottingResearch the technology of data conversion and interface of three-dimension solid modeling software Pro/E,finite element analysis software Ansys and mechanical system dynamics emulation software ADAMS, by means of the softwares establishes three-dimensional models of gantry crane and apply loads and forces> add constraints and determine the motion relations.In a word, virtual prototype study offers efficient tool and method to design gantry crane that is economic, credible stable and high performance.
