Research On Optimizing Strategies Of The Open Access Information Service In China

During the academic information commercial publishing process, monopoly publishing extends continuously. On the one hand, this situation leads to the crisis of information resources price for Information Service Organizations. On the other hand it also formed an obstacle to the readers getting information conveniently. To resolve this contradiction, Open Access Information Services came into being. After near 10 years research and development, this information service has made gratifying achievements on the foundation, the subject coverage of resource, social recognition and the service area. Nevertheless, the development of China's Open Access Information Services still has huge gaps with the advanced level between other countries.Therefore, we should make a conclusion about the deficiencies of the Open Access Information Services based on the current situation in China, then frame optimizing development strategies on Open Access Information Service in our country.This thesis makes a conclusion on the main theory of the Open Access in part one. Summarizes the recently development of Open Access Information Service in our country, and analyses its present obstacles in part two. In the third part, the author using large environmental analysis model, the PESTEL analysis model, to analysis the whole developmental environment of Open Access Information Services in China, then analysis the motive factors in our country from the microcosmic angle . In the forth part, the thesis frames an optimizing development strategies from seven aspect , points out the bright trend of this information service in China.
