The Research On Service Customization Under The Open Service Environment

Traditional telecommunication is a network based on call service.Disposing call's seting up ,canceling is main part of telecommunication network'work. With new technology developing, telecommunication network is upgrading. Intelligent network of telecommunication has solved value-added services creation,such as 800 service ,call forward,3 party call service.SCP is a main part of Intelligent network,switching is only in charge of switching and service accessing. Traditional telecommunication network has some immanent flaw,including close and concentrated controlling.It lead to cost long time to develop and deploy value-added service based on Traditional telecommunication network. service creation is complex,main service supported is call service.service developing person has to know telecommunication knowledge well,and spring mechanism of its call model is not fit to internet.Fast creation and provisioning of customized services, which can satisfy the users' needs, are the key factors for the success of network operators and service providers. Because of its separate characteristic between controlling and bearing, service and controlling,next generation network system framework has been a good way to meet the demanding of customer's individual telecom service. Next generation network system framework has some characteristic as followed: IP technology is its kernel technology,supporting voice, data and multimedia service ,its development drived by service ,using normal protocol.Main object is to provide rich and flexible service.Our main work is to research the methed service creation and customization.New network system framework provides open service creation entironment,satisfying demand of customer's customized service. The research of next generation network system framework experience TINA,JAIN,PARLAY/OSA phase.Now PARLAY/OSA is accepted by IT industry .Many company has designed and developed product based on PARLAY/OSA technology.It made that 3nd party value-added service creation merchant is possible.This thesis first introduces the weak points of traditional Intelligent Network for provisioning customized services and the experiences from industry to solve these problems, including network convergence, service architecture modeling, application of new software development technologies and open service APIs. Particularly, it emphasizes the comprehensive supports from Parlay/OSA for service customization. Then, it discusses in detail the customization framework of Mobile Internet services based on Parlay and the related techniques. According to the related SCFs (Service Capability Feature) from Parlay/OSA, we give an elementary verification of service customization through MS.NET developing environment. Finally, we give a summary about some kinds of service customization technologies and some problems about the service customization under the open service environment for further research.
