With the development of our social economy, the consumption has replaced the production and become the core of social life. People cannot live without consumption. The consumption is basic conditions for survival and development. The consumption and concept can form consumption concept. Consumption is a historical concept, different historic stages have different consumption concept. The traditional consumption concept of Chinese people is frugality which has a great affection on modern Chinese people's consumption concept. However, in 21th century, the development of economy, the advent of the information society, the close contact with the world make Chinese people's consumption concept have a great change.Manufacturers is in their efforts to stimulate consumption, while consumption of mass media on the formation and development of the concept plays an important role, the media and the consumer has a very close relationship. On the one hand, the mass media has spread through its'own advantage, creating a desire for a consumer guide to form a new mass consumer consumption concept; the other hand, the media itself reflects the public's needs and our times. Based on media inextricably linked with the consumption, the paper of "Salon", "family" as a case, taking 2000-2009 The magazine and the decade of scientific analysis, the concept of consumer culture on the 16 dimensions analysis, in order to examine the content of domestic life journals which demonstrate the concept of consumption, so as to build a new consumer culture provides a prerequisite.
