With the development of economic globalization and information technology, competition among enterprises becomes rivalry among the supply chains gradually. More and more enterprises begin to apply supply chain management strategies to achieve collaboration of both external and internal environment and to reach integrated management, in order to meet the needs of the new market environment, improve customer satisfaction, improve the core competitiveness and viability. Therefore it becomes a research focus that applying simulation technology to supply chain management. This thesis firstly expounds the related theory of supply chain management and points out the bullwhip effect phenomenon which prevalently exists in supply chain management. In the 20th century 60s, MIT's beer game vividly confirmed the existence of bullwhip effect in the supply chain management, and the existing research points out that information sharing is the fundamental way to reduce the bullwhip effect. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the current logistics system simulation method and the related technical support, such as HLA/RTI Distributed Simulation Framework and the development of Web Service technology. Aiming at solving the bullwhip effect problem in supply chain management, this thesis put forwards an HLA distributed simulation method based on Web Service(WS-HLA), the thesis emphasizes the implementation framework, implementation steps and collaboration time management of this method. The thesis intents to combine Web Service technology with HLA distributed simulation framework to realize large-scale distributed simulation of supply chain, improve the interoperability and reusability, thus realize mutual transmission between each node of the supply chain. Finally, taking the beer game for example, the thesis uses Arena simulation tool to model and to realize information sharing based on WS-HLA. The thesis confirms the feasibility of WS-HLA by comparing simulation targets before and after information sharing. The thesis further discusses realization of distributed simulation based on the combination with Web Service technology and HLA framework. The thisis aims at effectively weakening magnification information caused by bullwhip effect by achieving information sharing among supply chain nodes. Effective information could ensure the material flow and capital flow circulation, and enable each enterprise achieve seamlessly link of supply chain management, also it could facilitate decision-making and business operations of core enterprises. The method could improve overall economic benefits of the supply chain by reducing the risk caused by information asymmetric or incomplete.
