Library as an important institution to preserve and transmit the knowledge and information has existed thousands of years. It has been predicted that the library will disappear in the future under the development of information society. However, it is a static view. Library has been changing.At present, most of the libraries have been basically completed the automation and information of traditional business, but process reengineering is still in the stage of exploration and experience.There are many drawbacks about traditional library business processes in a knowledge environment, its organizational structure cannot adapt to the needs of users. Library management process is the existence of the reader's request. The real purpose of process is to provide readers with better and faster services to meet the needs of readers. It can be said that the starting and ending point of the process are readers. Therefore, I believe that the concept of process management under the knowledge management environment is that based on the process and focus on the information services.This paper introduces the concepts of the knowledge management, business process management, analyses process management of traditional library and points out that how to carry out the process management. In addition, take the library of Hebei University as an example to point out a model, hoping useful for other libraries.
