Research Of CRM Based On SaaS

SaaS(Software as a service)is a new way of software providing. Its appearance has poured the new strength into the information development of enterprise. At present, because of the excessive cost of the software and hardware, the enterprises have greate difficultly in stepping into the information time. However SaaS gives them the opportunity to save the cost based on change from self-owned mode to host-leased mode.CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is a business strategy built around the concept of being customer-centric. It improves business profitability, revenues, and customer satisfaction through the way of effective enterprise resource organizations in accordance with the breakdown of customers, as well as the implementation of customer-centric business processes. It is extremely important in the process of enterprise information.In the choice of CRM, the enterprises may choose suitable CRM software according to its own situation. It puts forward some new requirements to the SaaS-based CRM software, such as operational flexibility ,variety of user interface, multi-user database sharing, high scalability and high security .But the systems based on the software design patterns of traditional Custom software unable to meet the required of SaaS, which impedes the promotion of SaaS. So the software design patterns of SaaS has important research significance.In this paper, CRM for SaaS is treated as the research object. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages when MVP design pattern applies to software design for SaaS, it proposes and sets up the new design pattern for SaaS-MVPD design pattern. MVPD design pattern not only inherits model, view and presenter from MVP, but also includes the new concept of data layer so that it is useful for software design for SaaS and meet the requiments of SaaS based software design.
