Virtual reality technology is one of the information technology which developing faster in recent years.Virtual reality technology,multimedia technology and network technology are the three computer technologies with best prospects.With the development of computer technology and it's becoming increasingly related to other disciplines,virtual reality technology has received extensive attention and has been widely applied in scientific research and virtual training.Among them,Virtual training system that with full three-dimensional scenes,network,highly interactive and collaborative operation function has become a research focus due to its excellent cost-effectiveness.At present,Virtual Laboratory based on virtual instrument has haven many successful instances,and its development model and achievement techniques have been relatively mature.Virtual production line or virtual factory with large-scale virtual devices has been concerned widely.They will have important research value and broad application prospects.As an exploration in the aspects of development model and technique,this issue selects beer production line as the object to study.Beer production has a long process,complex equipment,a lot of pipes and valves,controlling the production procedure through DCS, involving a number of posts and needs for collaboration,research on and develop corresponding virtual production line can promote the construction of large-scale virtual equipment,the development of virtual factory and the study on Distributed Virtual Environment,and can accumulate valuable experiences.Based on the above,discussing on the way to build important virtual devices involved and the general rule to construct virtual production line,taking Flash CS3 as the development platform for DCS and Virtools for three-dimensional scene,this paper introduces a virtual beer line simulation system with collaborative operation function.The system makes an exploration and research on large-scale virtual equipment and virtual production line from the aspects of construction process and model and explores Distributed Virtual Reality based on Virtools and collaborative operation between different development platforms.With Virtools real-time rendering engine,Normal mapping,shader and other next-generation graphics imaging technique this paper constructed a scene of a high-interactive,ultra-realistic and networking through virtual design,geometric modeling and mathematical modeling for the transmission relations between virtual equipment when the whole production line is working. Besides,taking network as framework and MySQL as background database,the system has enabled different users to share information between each other and realized data transmission between Virtools and Flash.It can meet multi-users' collaborative operation.Applied to virtual training in vocational institutions and pre-job training for related production companies,the system has achieved a better training effect.
