With the deepening of China's heating system reforms,the heat meter market is a huge demand,as the instrument of measuring the heat of central heating system.This paper presents a non-magnetic heat meter,of which the main characteristic is the non-magnetic measurement of the flux with the Scan Interface(SCAN IF) of MSP430FW427.The non-magnetic heat meter is especially suitable for China's heating system.The paper designs a heat monitoring system based on the non-magnetic heat meter,which automatic reads the heat data in a heating system of a community, improves management efficiency of heating corporation,brings more convenience to the people,and solves the drawback of traditional manual meter reading.The heat monitoring system uses the Meter-Bus technology(M-Bus),and is composed of non-magnetic heat meter,meter reading concentrator and the host PC as data administration centre.The paper makes great effort to research the hardware and software design of the non-magnetic heat meter,illustrates the design of meter reading concentrator and data administration centre,and work out the M-Bus communication protocol.The paper has seven chapters:The chapter 1 shows the heat meter,automatic reading household meter system, and the development of related technology in domestic and abroad,and then introduces the contents and the important meanings of this paper.The chapter 2 analyzes the functional requirements of the heat monitoring system based on the non-magnetic heat meter,shows the total development architecture of this system,and analyzes the all modules' function and their own role.The chapter 3 and chapter 4 expatiate on the hardware and software design of the non-magnetic heat meter at details.Hardware design is mainly composed of selection of core devices and sensors and the circuit design of the modules' function.The circuit design includes flow detection circuit,temperature detection circuit and M-Bus communication interface circuit.With the low power character of MSP430,the paper shows the overall structure of software design by the modular and structured method. It focuses on the application of the Scan Interface(SCAN IF) and the application of comparator in high precision temperature measurement.The chapter 5 introduces the design of automatic reading meter system,including the design of meter reading concentrator and data administration centre,and work out the M-Bus communication protocol.The chapter 6 discusses the integrated system test and the calibration of the non-magnetic heat meter.The result shows that the performance of non-magnetic heat meter is grade 2 of JJG225-2007.The chapter 7 is the summary and the prospects.
