The Employee Performance Appraisal which is based on DBN has been studied in this paper. Performance appraisal model based on BSC-DBN is proposed.Balanced scorecard,which is the hottest in field of management,has been used in this model system.And DBN theory and methods and the strategic cause-and-effect graph of the Balanced Scorecard are applied during the modeling process.Thereby two inadequacies of BSC have been made up:(1) Indicators Weight of BSC,which is Experts identified,is subjective;(2) The causal relationship between indicators served by the BSC strategic causal maps is qualitative,and no Quantitative Data can be provided.Staff performance and development is dynamic changed over time,and this change showed a certain degree of regularity.Balanced Scorecard strategy map can be used to show a causal assessment of the impact of the relationship between indicators,but this display is static and qualitative.Dynamic Bayesian Networks,which is evolved from the Bayesian network evolved, adds the time factor to Bayesian networks,so the model showing a causal relationship with time lag,and is conducive to more closely reflect the impact between performance appraisal indicators in time lagging aspect.Based on their similarity,this paper applied DBN to the evaluation of the BSC system.By the application of the nature of quantitative reasoning of DBN, a more precise formulation of the causal link between the evaluation index relations could be provided,and hope that,through this reasoning process,A test of the Credibility of evaluation index weight could be served,so as to provide some objective basis for the Amendment of the weight.Based on those theories,the prototype system is completed in.Net 2005 environment.A description of the modeling,network construction,network learning and reasoning process is provided in this paper.And the database Storage Structure of BSC strategic causal maps and DBN is explained in detail.Finally,based on the example of business sales staff performance evaluation,a simulation is made.And the analysis of experimental results is given in the paper.
