In the beginning, this paper briefly introduces the newest development of CDMA mobile terminal multimedia technology; compare different solutions for CDMA mobile terminal about multimedia module. The next, this introduce develop platform of qualcomm company which is consist of platform framework, real-time operate system (REX), interface mechanism, mechanism of message handleing (MH) and relation of BREW and REX. Then, this paper makes out the solution which uses two chips to implement multimedia module. After requirement analyse, this paper begin to design software detailedly. Software design has been divided into two layers (up layer and bottom layer). Up layer is user interface (UI), bottom layer encapsulation API that up layer used. Finally, the paper do foundation test for project of CDMA mutilmedia moudle.Multimedia module is very important for CDMA mobile terminal. Two chips solution increase the business value of CDMA mobile terminal and decrease its cost.
