Cdma Wireless Terminal Application Layer Software System Design And Implementation

With the development of mobile communication technology, mobile terminal is not only used for voice communication service, but also used for varieity of data services through Internet access. Some mature technologies in computer industry are also applied to mobile terminal. Today, consumers are no longer satisfied with only voice communication, but demand for more services. This pushes the development of mobile terminal technology and the functions of the mobile terminals are becoming richer. At the design side, except by adopting advanced chip technology, how to develop new services quickly and integrate more functions is also very important.This project aims to develop a platform based on REX real-time operating system for the market. The thesis focuses on the design and implementation of the application layer of the platform, including: user interface module for communication between user and the terminal, and calling management module for controlling the voice call services.The thesis mainly describes the development of the software, including the system analysis, design and implementation. First, the terminal software architecture is introduced, and the software development platform is systematically described. Then, based on the modular and top-down design method, the user interface is designed and some key functional modules are designed and implemented. Finally, according to the principle and related standards of CDMA call processing, functions are defined and the overall scheme is designed based on the user demand and its characteristics. And the call manager module is designed and implemented next.The developed product has been tested and put into market. The functions are verified and the performance is acceptable. The platform is already used develop other wireless terminals such as wireless access box, handset terminal, and on-vehicle station.
