Cdma Network, The Sms-based Data Terminal Design

The paper is mainly concerned with the designing process of data terminal based on CDMA network short message service, and the hot topic "single chip system controlling the CDMA module to receive and send short messages". A data terminal with function of short messages receiving and sending is realized by using single chip C8081F020 from America Cygnal company and CDMA module MG801A from ZTEiT company. System total design scheme is presented and the designing method of data terminal, the method of exploitation and the performance process are elaborated. Remote data wireless transmission between the PC and application system could be realized with the use of data terminal on the basis of CDMA network.Because receiving and sending short messages is realized by AT command, the paper introduces process of receiving and sending short messages by AT command. The paper has elaborated the superiority of CDMA network, and emphasized the communication principle of short message service, which is important for the research.The task has finished the design of hardware and the development of software based on data terminal of CDMA network short message service, so single chip controlling CDMA module has been realized successfully .In system hardware design, it has completed peripheral circuit of single chip and MG801A and the serial interface circuit among the single chip system, the PC and the MG801A. In system software development, it has completed the design of computer software and data terminal software. The computer software is designed with Visual Basic 6.0, and it realizes the functions of communicating with data terminal and saving data. The data terminal software is designed with the C51 language; it analyzes the design thought and realization process of modules with different functions, and completes single chip initialization programs, main programs, programs of the interruption of receiving data, and programs of receiving and sending short message service.
