| Along with the rapid development of computer technology and wireless communication, carrying out multimedia communication on mobile terminal has been growing concerned, and IP Video Phone is one of the typical applications of multimedia communication technology. IP Video Phone is an integrated service that can implement voice and video calls on IP network. As the next generation of internet telephony, IP Video Phone has rapid developed all over the world. It can be said that IP Video Phone is one of the fastest-growing and most popular services in the world; it also becomes a hotspot of multimedia network research.A solution is put forward for implementing IP videophone based on research of multimedia software in this dissertation. IP videophone is the comprehensive application of multiple technologies, including such technologies as design of Graphic User Interface, audio capture, audio coding, video capture, video coding and their transmission on network. Video Phone use Qt/Embedded as the support library of Graphic User Interface system and use QThread multithreading programming model to implement module called and the whole function of system; The audio part of IP Video Phone adopt the Application Program Interface of Open Sound System for audio capturing and playing, and use G723.1 technology to implement the compression and decompression; The video part of IP Video Phone adopt V4L2 for video capturing, and use Motion-JPEG to encode and decode;The transmission of IP Video Phone support IPv4&IPv6 network and their synchronous is realized by the transmission control of audio streams and video streams.The result of the test shows that the whole system works well; the transmission is low delay and no significant jitter and achieves the function that IP Video Phone is used for voice and video calls. |
