The application of information visualization technology in Manufacturing Resource Planning system(MRPII) is a hot subject of research on the development of MRPII system at present. With the goal of the development of visualized MRPII, the paper focused on realization of visualized solution of two subsystems-Master Production Schedule(MPS) and Rough-cut Capacity Planning(RCCP), Material Requirements Planning(MRP) and Capacity Requirements Planning(CRP).The paper analyzed the visualized contents of MPS and RCCP, including Gantt chart of orders and time zone, Gantt chart of orders status, histogram generated dynamically by RCCP, manual adjustments to histogram under a graphical interface. The paper carried on the detailed design of visualized solution, studied the key technology of realization of the solution and designed the concrete realization flow.The paper analyzed the visualized contents of MRP and CRP, including visualization of process routes, histogram generated dynamically by CRP by a week as time bucket and manual adjustments to histogram, the generation of Gantt chart of CRP by a day as time bucket and movement and adjustment of Gantt chart. The paper gave the detailed design of visualization, designed the procedure flow chart of Gantt chart generation and manual adjustment, and solved the problem of manual adjustment of Gantt chart and interference of processes.The paper adopted standard visual user object and custom visual user object of PB to realize the visualization of MRPII and gave the detailed design. On the basis of detailed design, a prototype system of visualized solution of MRPII system has been developed by PB.
