With the wide application of computer and the development of internet, there is higher demand on power supply. And there is an inevitable trend in digital and intelligent control of UPS. In this thesis, a method about the implementation of on-line UPS local intelligent control and monitor system whose core control chip is TMS320LF2407 DSP is proposed.The classification, the development in future, and the meanings of UPS intelligent control and monitor system are outlined. Based on on-line UPS'component and operating principle, component and operating principle of UPS intelligent control and monitor system are analyzed, and the whole system is divided into several modules according to different function.All the functions for the on-line UPS control and monitor system, which includes data acquisition, LCD screen, clock, touch-screen, history, serial communication, and alarm, were realized by using a single-chip DSP chip. Then, the design and operating principle of every part hardware are analyzed. Based on the implementation of hardware, the software flow chart of the whole system and each module's software flow char are given. In the software design, method of structured program and modularization is taken. The development environment of DSP is Code Composer Studio, in which the C and assembly language are used to accomplish all the tasks. Furthermore, digital filtering are discussed.Experimental results have been are given, which show that the project of on-line UPS local intelligent control and monitor system is valid and can meet the demand of UPS. Furthermore, the problems, existing in the system which will be solved in future are discussed.
