With the advances of computer network technology, wireless communication technology, micro-computer and sensor technology, people from industry and academic researchers pay more attention on Wireless Sensor Networks, so that there has promoted the development of WSN. The concept of network of things which is proposed has made that study of Wireless Sensor Network technology is more important. Then the application of Wireless Sensor Networks is making a profound impact to all areas of people’s life, and data collection for WSN becomes necessary requirements. Therefore, we developed a WSN data acquisition and analysis system, to solve the current situation of data difficult to manage and the lack of visual presentation interface in the WSN study. By taking related WSN technologies, the real-time data collected by nodes is transferred into a computer database, and the system then calls the database and its related technologies to process and handle the data, at last the data is displayed on the user-friendly interface so that the users could monitor WSN more convenient. The main work as follows:(1) It mainly introduces the related theory used in the system architecture. The principle of Socket communications, serial communications, database access technology ADO and multi-threaded programming techniques are introduced in the paper.(2) Introduction of the overall design of the system. Based on the needs analysis of data acquisition and analysis system for Wireless Sensor Networks and in VS 2010 visualization environment, the overall framework of the system is designed. And it was made of “the nodes of WSN”. “server” and “client” to achieve WSN data acquisition and analysis system, each func,ional module is designed and then system data sheets were designed accordance with optimization principles of database design. At last the collected data is managed in real-time.(3) Introduction of implementation and test of the system functional modules. Software programming interfaces provided by TinyOS system collect node data, and communicate with the PC via the serial port. Through using Socket Communication technology, data communication between user interface and server is achieved, and through the method such as the diverse design of MFC framework, each module page of data delivery, and message mapping mechanism, the implementation of the system modules is completed. It also conducted a system functional test. At result graphics display system is running well and the data is showing normal.
