In order to share the global position system(GPS) serial data and the high speed output data from the GPS intermediate frequency(IF) data collector on the network,this thesis designs and develops GPS data acquiring and sharing system based on digital signal processing(DSP). The system includes four parts: GPS receiver, GPS IF data acquisition equipment, DSP network communication adapter and computer. The DSP software and hardware interface design, network program on computer are researched mainly.For the GPS low speed serial data,this paper makes use of the computer serial port to receive directly,and the program of the serial receiving and network transmitting are realized by VC. For the high speed output data from the GPS IF data collector, the paper uses the DSP high speed multi-channel synchronous serial port to receive,and then transmit data to computer network card throng the DSP network interface. Based on the DSP Development Board, the author finishes the hardware debug about the multi-channel buffered serial port(McBSP) receiving the output signal from the GPS IF collector and resolves the software program of the receiving buffer of the multi-channel synchronous serial data, data integration, UDP datagram encapsulation and network interface driver, etc. The real-time UDP datagram receiving, data frame de-encapsulation and high speed data memory are implemented, and a friend application interface with Windows message is developed on the PC.
