The Study And Development Of Web-based Information System For Irrigation District Management

The irrigation district information management is one of the important efficiency measures to obtain the optimal operation and to get the greatest benefits. To achieve the modernization of the irrigation district management, more attention should be paid to make full use of the advanced methods and tools to realize the irrigation district modernization and automation, including the gathering, transmitting, storing, processing and analyzing of the information which irrigation district management needs. Therefore, with the modern information technology such as networks and database, establishing a web-based information system for irrigation district management to efficiently manage the entire irrigation district is of great practical significance to improving the irrigation district management level.This thesis studies the design scheme, accomplishment method and key technology of a web-based information system for irrigation district management in detail. The main content can be summarized as follows:1. Make a detailed analysis on the architecture of web information system and discuss several technology for dynamically accessing data from database;2. Carry out a comparison study of several common database management systems on the performance;3. Based on analyzing the organization and business process flow in the irrigation district management, make system analysis and the overall functional design;4. Research the implementation method for main function in system and discuss on the issue of the system security;5. Take the data of Changma irrigation district in Shulehe river basin as an example, carry out the design ,and develop the'Web-based Information System for Changma Irrigation District Management'based on'a Web-based Information System for Irrigation District Management'.After studying all of these, I put forward the scheme for design and integration of a Web-based Information System for Irrigation District Management, designed the database for the system, solved the major critical problems such as setting authority, statistical analysis, data audit and so on. At present, the principal parts of'Web-based Information System for Changma Irrigation District Management'has been completed and used in Changma irrigation district.
