It is an effective way to implement bus priority for solving the traffic problem of urban in china. Improving the QOS (Quality Of Service) for bus and operating efficiency is the most important measure in order to improve the bus priority. Some questions such as low technological content and out-of-date administration exist in the bus management of many cities in the conutry at present, which makes the bus operating efficiency is low and the QOS is poor. So we need to take some technical means or management methods to solve the problem. The ZigBee technology has bee developing rapidly since 2004. The characteristics of ZigBee, such as low cost, low complexity and low delay, make it suit to bus dispatch system. The thesis proposes intelligent bus dispatch system scheme based on ZigBee technology.The thesis introduces the ZigBee technology briefly at first. Then it lists several feasible intelligent bus dispatch system schemes. The thesis describes system implementation with GPS and GPRS technology and with ZigBee technology in detail. At last the thesis determines to use the system scheme with ZigBee technology.The system is constituted by four parts in the scheme based on ZigBee technology. They are network coornidate, electronic bus stop board node, wireless relay communication node and vehicle terminal module. The four parts are placed on the whole bus line and communicated with each other. They make up mesh network. The thesis proposes proper data route transmissing protocol and vehicle location algorithm, according to the fixing characteristic of system sensor network node. Meanwhile, the system synchronizes the every node equipment's clock by using TPSN arithmetic.The thesis goes into the functions of the each equipment in the system network separately. The thesis presents the hardware schematic diagrams and then designs the software ware for each equipment module by analyzing and modifying ZigBee protocol stack of Chipcon Company. It lists the software flow chart of each equipment module. Finally, the configuration of the whole sensor network and the transmission of the data for the host computer are realized after the testing and configurable software for host computer is developed by using the VB6.0.
